JonesTrading & STA WIF Chair
Each year, we have the pleasure of welcoming both new and returning members to serve on STA’s National and Affiliate Boards. We build these boards with careful consideration around STA’s core mission. While STA’s advocacy for strong markets and educational events on key industry issues are critical parts of what we do, so too is our commitment to doing right by others. The STA Women in Finance Committee is excited to see the continued diversification of financial services and the diversity of our Boards is a testament to our ongoing objective of promoting women in finance.
We thank these women for making this commitment to serve STA! Service to our communities is one aspect of this commitment. Service to our fellow securities industry professionals is another. Each of STA’s regional affiliates across the U.S. and Canada is governed by a board of volunteers, who manage everything from event logistics to industry advocacy to allocating fundraising budgets. These efforts equate to great experiences and more meaningful interactions among industry members, which result in better markets.
Since joining STA’s Board of Governors last year, I’ve been fortunate enough to foster relationships with a number of the women in the STA community, and I look forward to remaining an ambassador for women in all areas of financial services. As your 2023 STA WIF Chair, I’m thrilled to recognize the women serving this year, each of whom bring with them unique industry knowledge and expertise.
Please join me in congratulating the women of the 2023 STA National and Affiliate Boards!
