We would like to bring to your attention the opportunity to conduct a comprehensive crossborder study of the effect of marketplace rebates on market quality and integrity, in conjunction with the Canadian Securities Administrators (“CSA”). Such a study is currently contemplated by the CSA. We believe that a cross-border pilot study focused on inter-listed stocks will benefit both regulatory bodies, with our reasons outlined below.
