About Committee Membership

STA maintains year-round relationships with corporate sponsors through its four Select Advisory Committees:

• ETF Committee
• Listed Options Committee (LOC)
• Market Structure Analyst Committee (MSAC)
• Retail Advisory Committee (RAC)

All committee members of MSAC and LOC receive:

Speaking Opportunities – STA often has a need for industry subject matter experts to present on its Open Calls, Trading Views Podcast, and to serve on panel discussions. In many of these situations, Select Advisory Committee members receive a first-look and are given priority over non-members.

Ability to Shape Regulatory & Legislative Issues – In addition to regular reports on Washington DC and market structure issues, Select Advisory Committee members also have visibility into drafts of STA Comment Letters and Talking Points that are used in meetings with the SEC, FINRA and on Capitol Hill.

Market Structure Reports – By leveraging STA’s relationships in Washington DC, Select Advisory Committee members receive regular reports on market structure issues, congressional updates and other timely communications that enable them to remain informed on matters that impact their business.

Networking – Select Advisory Committees provide a unique and substantive way to network.
