Bryan Harkins

Bryan Harkins is Executive Vice President, Head of Markets Division at Cboe Global Markets, Inc. Based in New York, he oversees the sales, product development and competitive strategy for the company’s U.S. equities, futures, options and global foreign exchange businesses, its suite of market data and access services products, as well as Cboe’s growing ETP listings business. In 2015, Bryan, and his wife Melissa Harkins, co-founded Wall Street Rides FAR (For Autism Research).

About Wall Street Rides FAR

Wall Street Rides FAR is a charity cycling event that combine cycling and fitness while raising money for an important cause, the Autism Science Foundation (ASF). ASF supports funding and other assistance to scientists and organizations conducting, facilitating, publicizing and disseminating autism research. ASF also provides information about autism to the general public and serve to increase awareness of autism spectrum disorders and the needs of individuals and families affected by autism.

Francisco Manuel

Head of U.S. Equity Execution

Francisco Manuel has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial service industry in various roles within equities and derivatives trading, both on the buy and sell side. He is currently Head of U.S. Equity Execution at MAN Group, where he has been since 2016. Prior to MAN, he was Managing Director, Institutional Equity/Derivatives Sales & Trading at Bay Crest Partners, LLC. He also spent time in London working for J.P. Morgan and UBS. Fran was instrumental in laying the foundation for STA’s Job Re-Entry Program, launched in 2019, and continues to be very involved in the program.

About STA Job Re-Entry Program

STA’s Job Re-Entry, or “STAR” initiative assists in the needs of individuals who have been displaced from their jobs and are seeking re-entry into the financial services industry. STAR leverages the established network, resources and values of STA to raise awareness on the needs of these individuals while providing useful resources and services. STAR offers information and networking packages to displaced individuals, but also educates employed individuals on steps that can be taken now to best prepare for an unexpected job loss.

Zachary McClanahan

Marketing Specialist

DASH Financial Technologies

Zach McClanahan is responsible for defining and executing a content strategy for DASH, as well as developing new and innovative methods, to help audiences experience the award-winning trading technology solutions DASH provides. Following a 4 year period serving in the US Navy, Zach achieved a Bachelor’s in Advertising and Integrated Marketing Communications from Pace University, before winning a position to lead digital strategy for the political campaigns of various members of the U.S. House of Representatives. Zach joined DASH in 2019.

Zach recently requested time off to volunteer at a food bank alongside Team Rubicon, an organization where Zach has responded to Tornadoes in Connecticut, Floods in Nebraska, and Hurricanes in Texas, Florida and The Bahamas. Zach has a passion and commitment to helping others in need.

About Team Rubicon

Team Rubicon is an international non-profit disaster response organization that unites the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response teams, free of charge, to communities affected by disasters. Team Rubicon currently maintains a roster of 130,000+ volunteers able to deploy throughout the United States and world.

Christine Cofer

Managing Director, Best Practices, Capital Markets Trading

Christine Cofer is the Head of Best Practices for Capital Markets Trading at Wells Fargo Advisors. She leads a team focused on ensuring effective oversight controls exist at the trading desk to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations applicable to trading in equities, options, fixed income and futures products. Christine and her team provide decision support and direction on strategic initiatives impacting trading products including technology and regulatory changes. She serves as a liaison from Trading to internal legal partners and for communicating with regulators.

Christine currently serves as Co-Chair for the WFA Best Execution and Trade Oversight Committee and Vice Chair for the WFA Volcker Committee.  

Christine has been with Wells Fargo Advisors and its predecessor firms since 2005 with various roles supporting Trading. Prior to joining the firm she was an institutional equity trader.  

Shay Deverell

Shay Deverell is Compliance Manager & Assistant General Counsel for Citadel Securities LLC. She is responsible for overseeing the equities and options compliance programs for Citadel Execution Services, advising the business on new or changed regulatory requirements, and managing regulatory correspondence and relationships.

Shay is a Running Coach for Girls on the Run, an Associate Board Member for Urban Initiatives, and a Member of the DetermiNation Marathon Charity Team. She previously served as a Tutor for Working in the Schools (WITS) and a Tax Preparer for Ladder Up. Shay received her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University – Bloomington and her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

Christine Sandler

Christine Sandler is Head of Sales and Marketing for Fidelity Digital Assets, which provides enterprise-grade digital asset solutions for institutional investors. Christine has a 30-year career in financial services, known for building, leading, and developing top-performing sales teams at global institutions including Barclays Capital, NYSE Euronext, and Merrill Lynch. Prior to joining Fidelity Digital Assets, Christine was the U.S. Head of Sales at Coinbase Inc., a popular exchange and custodian for digital assets.

Christine has served as president and board member of the Security Traders Association of New York, and chair of the Security Traders Association Women in Finance Committee. Christine co-founded the Women’s Leadership Action Network, and has received several accolades for her efforts to expand the role of women in leadership across the financial industry.

Daniel Ciment

In July 2020 Daniel Ciment joined IEX as Chief Operating Officer. Previously, Daniel served as a Manager Director at J.P. Morgan and Head of Global Equities Electronic Trading and Global Agency Program Trading. Prior to J.P. Morgan, he held similar roles at Barclays Capital, Lehman Brothers and ITG. Daniel holds a B.S. in Finance from Yeshiva University.

Frank Troise

Frank Troise was appointed to the board of Pico Trading in September 2019. In May 2020, Mr. Troise was named Co-CEO. Mr. Troise is an experienced business executive with a successful record in delivering corporate growth through strategic, operational, and technology transformations in global financial services. Frank most recently served as the President and CEO of Investment Technology Group (previously NYSE:ITG), a global financial technology innovator and brokerage solutions provider offering trading, analytics and workflow technology to institutional asset managers, hedge funds, investment banks and broker/dealers in more than 40 global markets, including the Middle East, Latin America and China. Mr. Troise led the vision and strategy that ultimately culminated in the successful acquisition of ITG by Virtu Financial earlier this year.

Prior to joining ITG, Mr. Troise was Managing Director and Global Head of J.P. Morgan’s Cross-Asset Execution Services.

Mr. Troise holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Boston University, an M.S. in operations research from Columbia University, and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.

Paul Whitehead

Paul Whitehead, Managing Director, is the Global Head of Equity Trading and the Global Head of Transition Management within BlackRock’s Global Trading Group. Mr. Whitehead’s service with the firm dates back to 1996, including his years with Barclays Global Investors (BGI), which merged with BlackRock in 2009. Prior to assuming his current role, Mr. Whitehead was Head of Americas Equity Trading. Previously, he managed the trading team responsible for all Institutional Index funds, Exchange Traded funds, and Transition Management mandates.

Mr. Whitehead represents BlackRock on the board of Luminex, a buy-side owned Alternative Trading System launched in 2015.

He earned a BS degree in economics at the University of Colorado in 1993.

Prior to that, Chris was a commodities trader at the Chicago Board of Trade, advising institutional accounts on hedging in the futures markets. He joined the DSTA Board in 2008, serving as President in 2014. As a Senior Vice President, he covers a wide variety of firms, including investment managers, banks, pension funds and consultants.

Today she serves as Host and Executive Producer of that program. “Business First AM” airs on 97 TV Channels on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CW & MyTV Network stations across the country.
