New York, March 2, 2023 – Security Traders Association (STA) today announced the addition of Erin Kelly as Assistant Vice President and Director of Communications. In this role, she will manage communications and relationships with both external audiences and STA affiliates to expand the organization’s brand presence within the larger securities and financial services industries.
The hire of Kelly comes on the heels of STA’s best year to date in terms of sponsorship participation, with a record number of firms signing on in 2022. She is based at STA’s office in New York City.
Kelly brings a strong background in media relations and marketing. She previously served as Assistant Product Marketing Manager at DriveWealth, a B2B fintech providing API-based investment solutions for U.S. and global users. In this role, she collaborated regularly across teams on an array of marketing campaigns, with a focus on expanding the firm’s media presence and communicating new product launches to 100+ global partners and beyond. She also led several firmwide community and charitable events.
Before DriveWealth, Kelly served as a Media Relations Associate at Forefront Communications, a marketing and communications agency focused on the capital markets and B2B fintech, where she assisted in media strategy for a wide range of market structure-focused clients. She graduated from Iona University with a BA in Economics.
